Instinct is a personal assistant you reach by text or phone call, and it can use a phone and a computer the way you do. It cannot open your Search Console data by itself, though, and Instinct has not published a way to add a custom connector yet. This guide covers what works today, how to connect GSC Wizard if your account does offer a connector, and what you should never hand over while you wait.
Last checked against Instinct's public site on 2 November 2026.
The short answer
There is no documented way to connect Search Console to Instinct today. Instinct's public site does not describe custom connectors, MCP servers or a place to store an API key, and I have not been able to verify a GSC Wizard connection inside it.
https://mcp.gscwizard.com/mcp and sign in, as described below.Either way, do not let Instinct sign in to Search Console with your Google account, and do not text it an API key.
Instinct describes itself as a personal assistant that understands what you are working on and what is important to you. There is no new app to learn: you send it a text or call it, and it carries out the task on a phone and a computer the same way a person would. The examples on its homepage are everyday errands, such as ordering the ingredients for a recipe, booking a train home or finding a tennis court for the weekend. You sign up and log in at app.instinct.com.
An assistant like that is tempting for SEO, because so many of the questions are small and come up at awkward moments: did yesterday's release hurt traffic, is the new page indexed yet, which query slipped this week. Being able to text the question and get a two-line answer back would be genuinely useful.
The catch is access. Search Console data is private to the Google accounts you verified your sites with, so no assistant can see it until something holds that authorisation for it. Assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude solve that with connectors, which let a service like GSC Wizard answer on your behalf without the assistant ever touching your Google login. Instinct has not announced anything comparable yet.
This is what Instinct's own public pages say, checked on 2 November 2026. Features can exist inside individual accounts without being on the public site, so check your own settings before you rule anything out.
| Capability | Status |
|---|---|
| Reach it by text or phone call | Yes, this is how Instinct works. |
| Uses a phone and a computer for you | Yes, according to its homepage. |
| Custom connectors or MCP servers | Not documented. |
| A private field for API keys | Not documented. |
| A developer API or integration programme | Not announced. |
| An official GSC Wizard integration | No. I will update this page when there is a supported path. |
GSC Wizard runs a hosted MCP server, the same one behind the ChatGPT app and the Claude connector. If Instinct gives you a place to add one, these are the steps. If it does not, skip to the options that work today.
Sign in at tool.gscwizard.com with Google and pick the Search Console properties the assistant may read. This is the only place Google permissions are granted, and the assistant can never see more than what is connected here. Add GA4 and Bing Webmaster Tools too if you want conversions or Bing data in the answers.
Look for a setting called something like custom connector, integration or MCP server, and enter this URL:
https://mcp.gscwizard.com/mcpIf Instinct offers a sign-in, use it: the server supports OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so you leave any client ID and secret fields blank and approve the GSC Wizard consent screen. If it only accepts a header, create a read-only key under Account → API keys in GSC Wizard and enter it in Instinct's private credential field as Authorization: Bearer gscw_live_.... Never send the key in a text message.
Text Instinct: "Using GSC Wizard, list the Search Console properties you can see, then give me last week's clicks for the main one." If the numbers match your Search Console dashboard, the connection works. If Instinct answers without calling GSC Wizard, treat the numbers as a guess.
Got it working, or found a connector setting in your account? Tell me on the feedback page, without any credentials, and I will add the exact steps here. The full reference for the endpoint is in the MCP connection guide.
Because Instinct can operate a computer, it is tempting to work around the missing connector. These shortcuts give away far more than Search Console data.
Signing the assistant in to Search Console hands it your whole Google session, which usually also opens Gmail, Drive and every other Google product on that account.
A message thread stays on your phone, in backups and in the conversation history. If a key was ever pasted into a chat, revoke it in GSC Wizard and create a new one.
The Search Console interface shows at most 1,000 rows per report, so an assistant reading it off the screen sees a sample and does the arithmetic itself, with results that drift from one ask to the next.
If what you wanted from Instinct was a quick answer on your phone or a heads-up when something breaks, you can have both now through channels that already connect to GSC Wizard.
GSC Wizard posts scheduled reports and alerts for traffic drops, indexing, Core Web Vitals and algorithm updates to the Slack or Microsoft Teams channel you choose, with no assistant in the loop and nothing to set up per question.
The same GSC Wizard connection works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Meta Muse, all with documented setup steps and mobile apps you can ask from.
If you liked the idea of an assistant that keeps working in the background, OpenAI Dots can take the GSC Wizard plugin and run standing briefs such as a Monday performance summary.
Building something yourself? The MCP endpoint and API keys work with any MCP client, and the daily SEO agent shows a ready-made setup.
Once an assistant is connected, these work well in a message or out loud. GSC Wizard runs the analysis on its own servers and returns the finished figures, so the answer fits in a text instead of a table.
Uses: site summary
Uses: anomaly detection, algorithm updates
Uses: URL inspection
Uses: ranking changes, top queries
Uses: decaying content
Uses: opportunity scoring
No. Search Console data sits behind your Google login, so Instinct can only see it through a connection that holds the authorisation for it. As of 2 November 2026, Instinct does not publish instructions for adding a custom connector or MCP server, so there is no documented way to give it that connection yet.
No. I have not been able to verify a GSC Wizard connection inside Instinct, because Instinct has not published a connector or developer programme to build one against. If your account does offer a custom connector, the GSC Wizard MCP server at https://mcp.gscwizard.com/mcp is the endpoint to use, and I will update this guide when there is an official path.
I would not. Signing an assistant in to Search Console hands it your whole Google session, which usually reaches Gmail, Drive and every other Google product on that account, and it would still be reading numbers off an interface that shows at most 1,000 rows per report. A connector keeps the Google authorisation inside GSC Wizard, limited to the properties you choose, and you can revoke it at any time.
No. A message thread is not a place to keep a secret: it lives on your phone, in backups and in the assistant's conversation history. Only enter an API key in a private credential field that Instinct documents for that purpose, use a read-only key, and revoke it in GSC Wizard if it was ever pasted anywhere else.
GSC Wizard posts reports and alerts for traffic drops, indexing and Core Web Vitals to Slack and Microsoft Teams without an assistant in the loop. For questions in plain language, the same GSC Wizard connection works today in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots, all of which have documented setup steps.
Not with a read-only key. Every GSC Wizard API key carries a scope chosen when you create it, and a read-only key cannot invoke a write tool at all, so it cannot submit sitemaps, send IndexNow requests or delete anything. With an OAuth sign-in, most tools are read-only and every write is audit-logged on your account.
Connect Search Console to GSC Wizard once. It works in Slack, Teams and the assistants that support connectors today, and it is ready for Instinct the day Instinct supports one.
