The best Google Search Console tools for affiliate sites in 2026

Affiliate sites are more exposed to Google's updates than most. A portfolio of sites can lose half its traffic in a week, and the work afterwards is triage: which sites, which pages, which queries, and whether it lines up with an update. The tools that help are the ones that put many sites on one screen cheaply, mark the update dates, and find the pages that are slipping before the commission report does.

Disclosure: we make one of the tools in this guide (GSC Wizard). For affiliate sites we have ranked it second of 6, and it gets the same "watch for" note as every other tool. Facts about other products come from each vendor's own website, checked October 3, 2026, and every source is linked at the bottom. Spot an error? Tell us.

Best free start, at any portfolio size

SEO Gets. Unlimited sites on a free plan, with a master dashboard, decay tabs and Google updates on charts.

Best for alerts and stored history

GSC Wizard. Anomaly alerts on stored sites, indexing alerts, cannibalization and history that outlasts 16 months, from €39 a month for 25 stored sites plus 50 live.

Best for competitor and link research

Ahrefs. First-party tools cannot show you a competitor's money pages.

What affiliate sites actually need from a Search Console tool

A portfolio owner's needs are different from a single-site owner's. The total bill and the speed of triage decide it.

A cost per site that stays low

Twenty sites at $50 each is a different business from twenty sites on a flat plan. Look at the total, not the entry price.

The whole portfolio on one screen

After an update you need to see every site's change at once and sort by damage.

Update dates on the chart

A drop that starts on the day a core update began rolling out is a different problem from one that starts on the day you changed a template. Annotations with Google's confirmed updates settle it.

Decay at page level

Money pages decline one at a time. A decay report ranks them by lost clicks, so refresh work goes where the revenue is.

Cannibalization

Review, comparison and best-of pages on the same topic compete with each other. You want to see which URL Google picks for each query, and when it flips.

Indexing

New and programmatic pages on young sites often sit unindexed. You need to know which ones.

The 6 tools, in the order we would try them

Six tools. The first is free for any number of sites. The second is ours, for when you want alerts and stored history on top.

1. SEO Gets

What it is. A clean, fast Search Console dashboard built for people who run many sites. The free plan covers unlimited sites and team members and includes the master dashboard, growth and decay tabs, branded versus non-branded tracking and Google core updates on charts. The paid Core plan adds GA4, content groups, topic clusters, opportunity reports, annotations that start an SEO test automatically, an MCP server and no-login client links. It reads Search Console live and shows Google's 16 months; longer history is a per-site add-on called Super Sites.

Why it fits affiliate sites. Unlimited sites on every plan is the right pricing model for a portfolio, and the free plan already includes the master dashboard, growth and decay tabs and Google core updates on charts. Core at $59 a month adds tagging and portfolio metrics, opportunity reports, content groups and GA4.

Watch for. History is 16 months unless you pay for Super Sites at $10 per site per month, or $100 a year, with discounts from 20 sites, which adds up if you want it on every site. Alerts for traffic drops are listed on its roadmap as under consideration, and there is no Bing Webmaster Tools data.

Cost. Free plan. Core is $59 a month or $590 a year. Super Sites, which keep up to five years of history and add index reporting for up to 5,000 pages, cost $10 per site per month. Sites and team members are unlimited on every plan. SEO Gets pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

2. GSC Wizard

What it is. A Search Console, GA4, Bing, Yandex and Google Merchant Center analysis tool. It stores your Search Console history in its own warehouse (up to ten years on stored properties) and builds reports on top: content decay, cannibalization, CTR benchmarks, striking-distance queries, forecasting, anomaly detection and an indexing tracker. Traffic and indexing alerts go to Slack, Microsoft Teams or a webhook, and the same data is available to ChatGPT and Claude through an MCP server, including the Yandex and Merchant Center data.

Why it fits affiliate sites. It adds what a free dashboard does not. Anomaly alerts in Slack, Teams or a webhook tell you about a drop on a stored site once the data settles, without opening the tool. Cannibalization and content decay run on each site's real queries, the index tracker watches the pages that earn, and stored properties keep history beyond 16 months, so you can still compare against the months before an update after Google has dropped them. Confirmed Google updates appear as annotations on charts, and Bing data sits next to Google. Pro covers 25 stored sites plus 50 live ones for €39 a month. More on our affiliates page.

Watch for. SEO Gets gives you the portfolio view, decay tabs and update markers for nothing, so pay for this only if you want the alerts, the history and the extra reports. Beyond those 75 sites the next step is Business at €249, where SEO Gets stays flat. Only 25 sites on Pro keep stored history. There is no backlink or competitor data, which affiliate research depends on, and no revenue data unless your affiliate clicks are recorded as GA4 events.

Cost. 7-day free trial without a card, then Starter at €17 a month (10 live properties plus 5 with stored history, 15 in total, 1 invited seat), Pro at €39 (50 plus 25, 75 in total, 3 seats) and Business at €249 (500 plus 150, 650 in total, 10 seats). In US dollars that is $19, $49 and $299. Every feature is on every plan. There is no free plan for the web app and no annual discount. GSC Wizard pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

3. SEOTalos

What it is. A low-cost multi-site Search Console dashboard with SEO tests included on both of its plans.

Why it fits affiliate sites. Pro is $59 a month for unlimited sites and seats with SEO tests included, and Starter is $29 for 10 sites. For a portfolio owner who wants to test title changes across sites cheaply, the price is right.

Watch for. Its roadmap still lists stored history beyond Google's 16 months as planned, so do not count on it for comparisons further back than that.

Cost. Starter is $29 a month for 10 sites and 2 seats. Pro is $59 for unlimited sites and seats. 7-day trial. SEOTalos pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

4. Ahrefs

What it is. A full SEO suite built on its own crawl of the web: a backlink index, a keyword database, competitor research in Site Explorer, a rank tracker, a site audit crawler and AI visibility tracking in Brand Radar. Its GSC Insights reports read your connected Search Console, keep the data for as long as the account stays connected, and list keywords that Search Console leaves out, taken from Ahrefs' own index.

Why it fits affiliate sites. Choosing a niche, finding the pages that earn a competitor their traffic and checking who links to them all need third-party data. Ahrefs has it. Its free tier also gives each verified site a site audit and GSC Insights.

Watch for. Lite is €119 a month with one user, and its Rank Tracker updates weekly by default. Traffic figures for other sites are estimates.

Cost. Starter is €27 a month with 200 credits; extra users and credits cannot be added to it. Lite, the first full plan, is €119 a month (quoted as $129 in Ahrefs' help centre), Standard €229 and Advanced €419, each with one user. Extra users are listed at €37 to €75 a month each and billed by how much they use the tool. There is no free trial. Ahrefs Free gives verified site owners limited Site Audit, Site Explorer, Web Analytics and GSC Insights at no cost. Ahrefs pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

5. IndexProbe

What it is. Bulk URL inspection built on Google's URL Inspection API. It checks index status, last crawl date and the exclusion reason for whole URL lists, and spreads a large list over several days to stay inside Google's quota of 2,000 inspections per property per day.

Why it fits affiliate sites. It runs Google's URL Inspection API across whole URL lists and reports index status and the reason for exclusion. For a programmatic or fast-growing site, that shows which templates Google is ignoring. Plans start at $19 a month.

Watch for. It is in invitation-only early access, and Google's limit of 2,000 inspections per property per day still applies, so large lists take days.

Cost. Starter is $19 a month for up to 30,000 URLs per analysis, Pro $49 for 60,000 and Agency $99 for 100,000. It is in invitation-only early access, with 10 days free. IndexProbe pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

6. SEOTesting

What it is. One of the longest-running Search Console tools, launched in 2016 under the name SanityCheck. Its core is SEO testing: single-page, group and URL-switch tests measured before and after a change, split tests against a matched control group, and tests of AI-referred traffic using GA4. Around that sit the standard reports (content decay, cannibalization, striking distance, brand versus non-brand), content groups, annotations with Google updates added automatically, and a branded monthly PDF report.

Why it fits affiliate sites. Title and intro changes on money pages are worth testing, and a control group separates your change from an update that happened the same week. $50 a month for one site.

Watch for. Per-site pricing makes it impractical across a portfolio. Its own guidance is at least 50 organic clicks a day across the tested pages.

Cost. $50 a month for one site, $125 for five and $375 for twenty, with unlimited users on every plan. Enterprise pricing is on request. 14-day trial without a card, with up to 30 sites. SEOTesting pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest Search Console tool for a portfolio of sites?

SEO Gets is free for unlimited sites and $59 a month for the Core plan. SEOTalos Pro is also $59 for unlimited sites. GSC Wizard is €17 for 15 sites and €39 for 75, with stored history on 5 and 25 of them included.

How do I tell whether a Google update hit my site?

Put the update's start date on your traffic chart and see whether the change begins there. GSC Wizard, SEO Gets and SEOTesting add confirmed Google updates to charts automatically. Compare clicks first, since impressions and position can shift for measurement reasons.

Which tool finds decaying affiliate pages?

Any tool with a content decay report on Search Console data: GSC Wizard, SEO Gets (its decay tabs are on the free plan) and SEOTesting. The report ranks pages by lost clicks over a window you choose.

Can these tools show affiliate revenue?

Not directly. Search Console has no revenue data. If your affiliate clicks or commissions are recorded as GA4 key events, tools that read GA4, such as GSC Wizard, can show them per landing page.
