The best Google Search Console tools for ecommerce in 2026
An online store breaks Search Console in specific ways. There are more URLs than the interface will show, the same query matches a category, a product and three filter pages, half the catalogue may not be indexed, and nobody can say which queries make money. Different tools fix different parts of that. None fixes all of it, so this guide is organised by problem.
Disclosure: we make one of the tools in this guide (GSC Wizard). We have put it first for ecommerce sites, which is exactly the kind of ranking to be sceptical of, so it gets the same "watch for" note as every other tool and the alternatives are described on their merits. Facts about other products come from each vendor's own website, checked October 3, 2026, and every source is linked at the bottom. Spot an error? Tell us.
On this page
GSC Wizard. Content groups per template, GA4 revenue next to search clicks, and cannibalization across category and product pages.
JetOctopus. A crawler, log analysis and Search Console data joined together, from $349 a month on annual billing.
Google's BigQuery bulk export. Every row, every day, with no limit, for the cost of cloud usage.
What ecommerce sites actually need from a Search Console tool
Start from the problem you have. Most stores have at least three of these.
All the rows
A store with 20,000 products has far more than 1,000 queries and pages. The Search Console interface stops at 1,000 rows per table and the API at 50,000 rows a day, so check what a tool shows for a site of your size.
Pages grouped by template
You do not manage 20,000 URLs. You manage categories, product pages, brand pages and the blog. A tool should let you group URLs by pattern and report on each group.
Revenue, not only clicks
Search Console knows clicks and GA4 knows revenue. Joining them by landing page turns a traffic report into a priority list.
Which page ranks for what
Category, product and filtered pages compete for the same queries. A cannibalization report on your real queries shows where to consolidate or add internal links.
Index coverage of the catalogue
Products that are not indexed cannot sell from search. Google's URL Inspection API allows 2,000 checks per property per day, so monitoring a large catalogue takes either a tool that spreads the work over days or a crawler.
Year on year, for seasonal demand
Black Friday is compared with last Black Friday. Two seasons back no longer fits in 16 months, and the tool has to have been connected before the season you want to compare with.

The 6 tools, by the problem they solve
The first is ours and covers the analysis side. The next three cover scale and indexing, where we are weaker.
1. GSC Wizard
What it is. A Search Console, GA4, Bing, Yandex and Google Merchant Center analysis tool. It stores your Search Console history in its own warehouse (up to ten years on stored properties) and builds reports on top: content decay, cannibalization, CTR benchmarks, striking-distance queries, forecasting, anomaly detection and an indexing tracker. Traffic and indexing alerts go to Slack, Microsoft Teams or a webhook, and the same data is available to ChatGPT and Claude through an MCP server, including the Yandex and Merchant Center data.
Why it fits ecommerce sites. Content groups let you report on categories, product pages and brand pages separately. With a GA4 property linked, sessions, key events and ecommerce revenue sit next to Search Console clicks per landing page. The cannibalization report shows queries where several URLs split the clicks, and stored properties keep history for up to ten years, so seasonal comparisons keep working. Linking a Google Merchant Center account adds free listing clicks per product, the products Google limits or disapproves, competitor and price insights and a monthly feed audit, all of which an AI assistant can read through the Merchant Center MCP. More on the setup on our ecommerce page.
Watch for. Index monitoring is capped at 1,800 URLs per property, which covers your key categories and best sellers, not a whole catalogue. There is no full site crawler and no log file analysis. Stored history is limited to 5, 25 or 150 properties per plan, which matters if you run many country domains.
Cost. 7-day free trial without a card, then Starter at €17 a month (10 live properties plus 5 with stored history, 15 in total, 1 invited seat), Pro at €39 (50 plus 25, 75 in total, 3 seats) and Business at €249 (500 plus 150, 650 in total, 10 seats). In US dollars that is $19, $49 and $299. Every feature is on every plan. There is no free plan for the web app and no annual discount. GSC Wizard pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.
2. JetOctopus
What it is. A technical SEO platform for large sites: a cloud crawler, a log file analyzer and a Search Console module joined together, so you can see which pages are crawled, which Googlebot actually visits and which ones rank.
Why it fits ecommerce sites. For a large store the technical questions come first: which products Googlebot actually visits, which pages are crawled and not indexed, where crawl budget goes. JetOctopus joins its crawler, your server logs and Search Console data so you can ask all of those in one place, and it can export Search Console data to BigQuery.
Watch for. It starts at $349 a month billed annually, with 3 Search Console properties on that plan. It is a technical SEO platform, so expect to spend time learning it, and it is more than a small store needs.
Cost. Growth is $349 a month billed annually for 500,000 crawled URLs and 3 Search Console properties. Pro is $809 for 2 million URLs and 10 properties. Seats are unlimited. 7-day trial without a card. JetOctopus pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.
3. IndexProbe
What it is. Bulk URL inspection built on Google's URL Inspection API. It checks index status, last crawl date and the exclusion reason for whole URL lists, and spreads a large list over several days to stay inside Google's quota of 2,000 inspections per property per day.
Why it fits ecommerce sites. It does one thing. It runs Google's URL Inspection API across long URL lists and keeps going day after day until the list is done, reporting index status, last crawl and the reason for exclusion. Plans cover 30,000 to 100,000 URLs per analysis from $19 a month.
Watch for. It is in invitation-only early access. Google's quota of 2,000 inspections per property per day still applies, so a 30,000-URL list can take up to two weeks. IndexProbe says its accelerated mode, which is on by default, is usually faster. It reports indexing only, not performance.
Cost. Starter is $19 a month for up to 30,000 URLs per analysis, Pro $49 for 60,000 and Agency $99 for 100,000. It is in invitation-only early access, with 10 days free. IndexProbe pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.
4. Search Console bulk export to BigQuery
What it is. Google's own daily export of Search Console performance data into a BigQuery dataset that you control. It is not subject to the daily row limit, it keeps anonymized queries as flagged rows with the query text blank instead of dropping them, and the tables are kept forever by default. You query it with SQL or chart it in Data Studio.
Why it fits ecommerce sites. This is the only way to get every row. Google exports each day's performance data to your BigQuery project without the daily row limit, and you can join it to your product and order tables to get revenue per query group in SQL.
Watch for. It needs a data person. There is no interface, nothing is backfilled before the day you enable it, and query costs grow with the size of the site.
Cost. No licence fee. You pay Google Cloud storage and query costs, which have a free usage level, and you need a Cloud project with billing enabled. Google's bulk export documentation. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.
5. SEOTesting
What it is. One of the longest-running Search Console tools, launched in 2016 under the name SanityCheck. Its core is SEO testing: single-page, group and URL-switch tests measured before and after a change, split tests against a matched control group, and tests of AI-referred traffic using GA4. Around that sit the standard reports (content decay, cannibalization, striking distance, brand versus non-brand), content groups, annotations with Google updates added automatically, and a branded monthly PDF report.
Why it fits ecommerce sites. Stores change templates, not pages: a new title pattern on every category, a new block on every product page. A split test with a control group is the right way to measure that, and SEOTesting puts no cap on the number of URLs in a test.
Watch for. $50 a month per site, and each country domain is a site. Its own guidance is at least 50 organic clicks a day across the tested pages for a result you can trust.
Cost. $50 a month for one site, $125 for five and $375 for twenty, with unlimited users on every plan. Enterprise pricing is on request. 14-day trial without a card, with up to 30 sites. SEOTesting pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.
6. Ahrefs
What it is. A full SEO suite built on its own crawl of the web: a backlink index, a keyword database, competitor research in Site Explorer, a rank tracker, a site audit crawler and AI visibility tracking in Brand Radar. Its GSC Insights reports read your connected Search Console, keep the data for as long as the account stays connected, and list keywords that Search Console leaves out, taken from Ahrefs' own index.
Why it fits ecommerce sites. None of the tools above can tell you what a competitor's category pages rank for, or how many people search for a product type you do not stock yet. Ahrefs can, and its Site Audit crawls the catalogue for technical problems.
Watch for. Lite is €119 a month with one user. Its traffic figures for other sites are estimates, and Search Console is one input among many there, not the centre of the product.
Cost. Starter is €27 a month with 200 credits; extra users and credits cannot be added to it. Lite, the first full plan, is €119 a month (quoted as $129 in Ahrefs' help centre), Standard €229 and Advanced €419, each with one user. Extra users are listed at €37 to €75 a month each and billed by how much they use the tool. There is no free trial. Ahrefs Free gives verified site owners limited Site Audit, Site Explorer, Web Analytics and GSC Insights at no cost. Ahrefs pricing. Price checked Oct 3, 2026.

Enterprise platforms
For stores with millions of URLs, Botify, Lumar and Conductor combine crawling and Search Console data, with log data in varying depth, under one contract. None publishes prices.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Search Console tool for ecommerce?
For analysing queries, revenue and cannibalization, GSC Wizard. For technical SEO on a very large catalogue, JetOctopus or an enterprise platform. For complete raw data, Google's BigQuery bulk export. Most stores above a few thousand products end up combining an analysis tool with a crawler.
How can I see revenue per search query?
Search Console does not report revenue, and GA4 cannot tie a query to revenue, so a tool has to join them by landing page. GSC Wizard shows GA4 sessions, key events and revenue next to Search Console clicks per landing page. With the BigQuery bulk export you can build the same join in SQL against your own order data.
How do I check whether all my products are indexed?
Google's URL Inspection API allows 2,000 checks per property per day. GSC Wizard's index tracker re-checks up to 1,800 URLs daily, which suits key pages. For a whole catalogue, IndexProbe spreads the checks over several days, and crawlers such as JetOctopus compare what is crawlable with what gets traffic.
Does a store need more than 16 months of Search Console data?
If you compare seasons, yes. Year on year for the current month fits inside 16 months, but two holiday seasons back does not. Stored history only starts when you connect a tool, so the time to set it up is before the season you will want to look back on.
